Vladislav Morgun
I work where search, product, data, and engineering meet.
For more than 16 years, I have helped teams understand how complex digital products grow - and what prevents them from growing.

I’m Vladislav Morgun. My deepest expertise is in SEO, particularly large and multilingual websites: aggregators, marketplaces, e-commerce, and service products. But difficult problems rarely belong to SEO alone.
They sit between disciplines: a technical change with a revenue effect, a data problem mistaken for a traffic problem, a product decision that changes discoverability, or an AI experiment that needs to become a reliable process. My job is to make those problems tractable.
Problems I help solve
- Diagnosis and recovery: focused or complete audits, traffic and indexation changes, technical constraints, and difficult cases where the obvious explanation does not hold. See how I use AI for evidence-led troubleshooting.
- Product and growth systems: product-led SEO, analytics, prioritization, internal linking, and experiments that connect search behavior to business outcomes. See the product-led analytics framework.
- Data and AI operations: programmatic systems, automation, context-rich AI workflows, and quality controls that turn experiments into repeatable work. See the goal-oriented systems approach.
Some problems need a focused consultation or second opinion. Others need an audit, a workshop, or ongoing advisory. I keep the scope proportional to the decision that needs to be made.
How I work
I investigate the system before prescribing a fix: find the constraint, decide what evidence could prove or disprove an explanation, prioritize the smallest meaningful intervention, test it, and verify the result. The useful deliverable is not only an answer - it is a clearer model the team can continue using.
Speaking and teaching
Teaching is part of how I test whether an idea is genuinely useful. I speak about Product SEO, programmatic systems, analytics, internal linking, automation, and AI-assisted work at professional conferences and educational platforms.
Many pieces in this journal began as talks for WebPromo Experts and Collaborator. Here, I can give the ideas the context, evidence, and limitations that do not always fit on a slide.
Education
I graduated from the Faculty of Cybernetics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, specializing in complex systems modeling. That education shaped the systems approach I still use in my work across search, products, and data.
Building products
Alongside consulting, I build small, focused software products. Joys & Woes is a private, local-first iPhone journal designed without unnecessary accounts or social mechanics.
I also create and develop my own websites. They are a way to test product, editorial, technical, and SEO decisions in practice. My apps and other independent projects are collected at m09.org.
Shipping products keeps my advice honest: every feature brings real trade-offs in UX, data, privacy, engineering, and release.
Why this journal exists
m0r9un.com is my working journal: long-form cases, methods, talks, and product notes drawn from real work. It is also the best way to see how I think before we work together.
I write for people who prefer evidence to confident guesses, systems to isolated tactics, and useful questions to universal answers.
Work with me
Bring me a difficult problem.
Tell me what changed, what you have tried, and which decision you need to make. I will tell you whether I can help and what the smallest useful next step looks like.
